Section 01 · Terms of Service
The plain-English deal.
Last updated · 2026-04-23
This is a human-readable summary of our legally-binding agreement. If you're about to sign up for a large Pro plan, we recommend your counsel review it first.
Who this applies to
"You" means the person or business signing up for the service. "Kyra," "we," or "us" means meet-kyra, the AI product operated by Conversion System. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
The deal
New accounts get a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required at signup. After the trial, you're billed monthly or annually according to the plan you chose (see our pricing page). You can cancel any time during the trial with no charge. If you cancel after the trial, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we don't offer prorated refunds for partial months.
Acceptable use
Don't use Kyra to:
- Do anything illegal, or help your customers do anything illegal.
- Impersonate a person or business you don't represent, or run scams.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell our service (agencies: talk to us about the agency plan instead).
- Send spam, harassment, or deceptive marketing through our phone or chat channels.
- Upload content you don't have the rights to (including copyrighted material or other people's private data).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.
Your content
You own the content you write, upload, and generate through Kyra — your knowledge base, your customer conversations, your call recordings. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to run the service for you. We do not use your customer data to train third-party AI models without a separate, explicit opt-in from you.
Our service
We target 99% uptime. This is a target, not a hard SLA for self-serve plans. The Pro plan includes a service-credit policy described in the billing docs. Scheduled maintenance is announced on status.meetkyra.com.
Voice and recording
US users agree that calls handled by Kyra may be recorded under single-party consent. If you operate in a two-party consent jurisdiction (California, Florida, Washington, Illinois, Massachusetts, and others), both parties need to know the call is being recorded. Kyra announces the recording in her opening line automatically, which satisfies the disclosure requirement in most states — but you're responsible for compliance in your own jurisdiction.
Third-party services
Kyra runs on top of several third-party providers (Retell, Twilio, OpenRouter, Anthropic, Stripe, and others listed in our privacy policy). We're not liable for their downtime, data incidents, or policy changes, though we'll work in good faith to keep you informed. Live status is on /status.
Termination
You can cancel any time from your Billing page. We can terminate or suspend your account for abuse, illegal use, or unpaid bills — in most cases we'll give you 7 days' notice and a chance to fix it before cutting service. Abuse that puts other users at risk may result in immediate termination.
Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages (lost profits, lost customers, etc.).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Disputes
If you have a dispute, email support@meetkyra.com first — most things resolve there. Any dispute we can't resolve informally within 60 days will be settled by binding arbitration in New York County, New York, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You and we each waive the right to participate in a class action against the other.
