Your data, your rules.

Short version

  • We collect the data you give us and the conversations Kyra handles on your behalf.
  • We use it to run the service, bill you, and support you — not to train third-party models.
  • We share it only with the subprocessors we need to deliver the product (listed below).
  • You can export or delete your data at any time by emailing support.

What we collect

  • Account info: email, name, business name, phone number, billing address.
  • Business configuration: hours, services, pricing, greeting, escalation rules.
  • Voice calls: audio recordings and transcripts of calls Kyra handles.
  • Chat logs: messages between your customers and Kyra on your widget.
  • Knowledge documents: anything you upload or link for Kyra to learn from.
  • Usage data: logins, feature use, error logs — the normal stuff needed to operate a SaaS.

How we use it

To run the AI (generate responses, route calls, answer chats), to bill you, to provide support when you ask, and to monitor service health. We also use aggregated, de-identified metrics to understand how the product is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your data. We do not use your customer conversations to train third-party models.

Who we share with

We rely on a small set of subprocessors to run the service:

Each subprocessor sees only the data it needs to do its job. We don't share your data with anyone else except when required by law.

Your rights

You can request access to, export of, or deletion of your data. Email support@meetkyra.com for any data request — we'll respond within 7 days. Users in the EU, UK, or California have the rights granted by their local laws; we'll honor those requests the same way.

Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication only — just enough to keep you logged in. No third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers.

Retention

  • Call recordings: 90 days, then deleted.
  • Call and chat transcripts: 1 year.
  • Account data: kept while your subscription is active, and for 30 days after you delete your account (to allow recovery). After that, it's gone.
  • Billing records: retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).

Changes

We'll email you and post a banner on status.meetkyra.com if we make material changes to this policy.

This policy is written in plain English and is not legal advice. We reserve the right to update it; continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance.
